The four-ply construction makes it very durable without sacrificing drape or texture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eColors work up well: \u003c\/strong\u003ethe colors and dye patterning of both the tonals\/semi-solids and multi-colored colorways all work up very nicely without any strange pooling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSoft and pleasant: \u003c\/strong\u003eAnyone ultra-sensitive to the prickle factor might have issues with this yarn, but for most of us here, it's next-to-skin soft (even Stephanie, who's notoriously sensitive to prickly wool). It's not as soft as its sister yarn Maxima, but the plied nature of it makes it hardier and more wear-resistant for longer-lasting pieces.
