Handmade in England from durable, ethically sourced bone, these needles are made with nalbinders in mind. They're carved with a combination of power tools and hand work, and polished to a high shine. The tip tapers to a blunt, rounded point so you can easily pick up stitches and loops without splitting your yarn.
The straight sides make it effortless to work with finer yarns as well as chunky wool. Since there's no taper except at the tip, you can trust that your needle-tensioned stitches will come out the same size every single time.
Bone is robust, smooth, silky to the touch, and warms up to skin temperature easily. Over time, each needle will develop a unique patina and become smoother and more polished as it passes through each loop of yarn.
These needles can also be used for finishing knitted pieces, weaving, and other fiber arts.
Because each needle is handmade from natural materials, there may be minor variations in color and shape. Needles are approximately 4.5" or 11.5cm long, 7/16" or 8mm wide, and 5/32" or 4mm thick.

Love this bone needle. Super smooth, with a good heft. Nalbinding is a new craft for me.
