Collection: Crochet cotton

Yarn and thread spun for crochet has a Z-twist, and is typically spun more tightly and with more plies than standard S-twist knitting yarn. This provides excellent stitch definition and durability to your crochet pieces while also making them easier to create.

Mercerized cotton is gas-singed to remove the fuzzies from the surface of the yarn. Fiber that goes through this process has a smoother texture and more lustrous appearance than non-mercerized cotton.
