Bambok is a soft fingering-weight yarn with a light shimmer, spun from superwash Merino wool and bamboo rayon. The Merino wool provides structure and warmth while the bamboo delivers a beautiful drape and sheen for exquisite shawls, wraps, and other garments.
All of Manos del Uruguay yarns are hand dyed. The artisans use big kettles heated by wood-fueled boilers, dyeing in small batches creating wonderful colors. The colors of Manos yarns are bright and wild, full of nuances and variations. No two skeins are the same, each one is unique, a testimony of a particular moment.
Due to the small batch hand-dyed process, there may be differences in colors between skeins. Order enough yarn for your project for a better likelihood that skeins will match. Alternate skeins where needed.
All Manos del Uruguay yarns are mulesing-free.

Please note: Certain colors may bleed, especially dark colors and vibrant ones. Always make a test swatch and block it, if you’re concerned about color bleeding. To help reduce bleeding, block with cold water, use color catching sheets in the water, only use one color, or stay away from high-contrast colorwork.
